Mistynight’s Life (Me)
Chapter One
Mistykit played with a butterfly outside the nursery. She had no brothers or sisters to play with. There were no other kits around either. Mistykit was soon going to be an apprentice. And she couldn’t wait. Her mother, Mistcloud, was waiting for just that moment, when her kit would become an apprentice. Mistykit’s father, Teardrop, always said that she needed some friends. And the best way to make friends in ThunderClan was to be an apprentice. Mistystar, the ThunderCLan leader, was a well-respected gray she-cat. Mistystar was brave and friendly. Mistykit always looked up to her leader. Maybe one day she herself would become leader! She heard her mother calling her name. “Mistykit, come back inside the nursery! It is getting late!” So Mistykit stopped chasing after the butterfly, and went into the nursery to lie by her mother.

yea..
Chapter Two
The next morning Mistykit woke up to a bright and beautiful shining day. There was a lot of commotion going on. The Dawn Patrol had come back with interesting news. She heard her deputy, Sharpfang, talk about what was going on around the ShadowClan border. Mistykit only heard Sharpfang say there was something odd over in ShadowClan when her mother called her back into the nursery. Mistykit hated that. She was almost an apprentice now! Why must she always stay in the stupid nursery? The last thing she heard the deputy say was: ShadowClan, sneaky, and watch out. When she got back in the nursery she pouted saying, “Why can’t I go out there and stick around? I hate staying in here! I’m almost an apprentice!” Mistcloud just gave a look at her daughter and said, “Those are the rules Mistykit and you know it. You can’t leave the nursery without permission from me or Teardrop and you certainly cant go our of camp.” Mistykit glared at her mother and stomped down further into the nursery not staying beside Mistcloud. Mistcloud just sighted and muttered something.
Chapter Three
A yowl sounded through the camp. Out toppled Fiercepaw, a big brown tomcat who was close to becoming a warrior. Fiercepaw scrambled around yowling and screeching while Whitetail and Sleekfur came bounding into camp. Shouting that there was an attack from ShadowClan. Sharpfang gathered some warriors and headed toward ShadowClan. Mistykit lay in the nursery, afraid of what might happen. Her father left for the battle. So she curled up with Mistcloud, shaking and hiding beneath her fur. She could smell the fear scent from the other apprentices. And only two of the warriors were left behind to watch the camp. Tension was high, she could tell from Bluefoot’s fur standing up. Bluefoot stood on her hind legs, batting at something. And Mistykit could see a black shape in front of Bluefoot. It was a ShodowClan cat! They were getting into the camp! Them Mitsykit saw another black cat bowl over the warrior Bluefoot. She let out a screech, and Dirtpelt came running over to Bluefoot’s rescue. Bluefoot and Dirtpelt both side by side, clawing the ShadowClan cats away. Mistcloud made a move to the back of the nursery, and Mistykit followed. When one of the black ShadowClan cats got free of Dirtpelt and came hurtling over to the nursery!
Chapter Four
“Lightningpelt”! Screamed Dirtpelt. “Get back here crowfood! Stay away from the nursery ugly she-cat!” But the she-cat did not listen to Dirtpelt and still came forward. Now Mistcloud was battling with the she-cat Lightningpelt. Bluefoot had one of the black toms running away and came back to help Mistcloud. Dirtpelt was busy saving the apprentices from a white she-cat from ShadowClan. Bluefoot and Mistcloud clawed Lightningpelt until she gave a loud hiss and backed off. Mistcloud had a long gash across her shoulder. Bluefoot had many scratches everywhere. It seemed that the fight was over. There were no more ShadowClan cats coming into the ThunderClan camp. All was quiet, and Mistykit stood watching her mother lick at her wound. Nothing happened for the longest time. Then Mistykit heard yowls of triumph and saw the warriors coming back from the battle. Almost everyone looked battered. Others looked totally exhausted. Their faces showed triumph when they walked into camp. But when the saw the mess their faces turned to horror. They scrambled around to the apprentices den and the nursery. Checking to make sure each cat was all right. Whitetail, Sleekfur, and Bluefoot came in. Mistcloud told them everything was ok. And she said Mistykit was ok too. Whitetail told Sleekfur to fetch Kangafoot. She was the ThunderCLan medicine cat. Her name fit her looks. Her feet were abnormally sized. The size of a baby kangaroo’s foot! Sleekfur left the nursery to get Kangafoot. So Mistykit was left with her mother Whitetail, and Bluefoot.
Chapter Five
Kangafoot came over with some herbs in her mouth. She checked Mistykit first, and found nothing wrong. When she got to Mistcloud she stopped. “Mistcloud that gash across your shoulder is very deep. Let me take a good look at it.” Kangafoot tended to Mistcloud, giving her Marigold, leaves to treat infection and heal wounds and sores. “There you go Mistcloud, it will heal in time.” Mistcloud thanked her and Kangafoot left the nursery to tend to other cats. Mistykit could hear some cats yowling in pain. This battle must have been a hard one. Mistykit wondered why there was even a battle at all! While her mother was asleep Mistykit snuck out of the nursery. She wanted to know why there had been a battle. She crept up to the warrior’s den. And hid behind some bush. She heard Whitetail, Sleekfur, and the other warriors talking about ShadowClan. “We were on a border patrol when a ShadowClan cat spotted us. It was Darkfur; he came up to us and unsheathed his claws. He was looking for a fight.” “Yes Sleekfur,” Whitetail said. “Darkfur’s fur was bristling and he said his Clan was going to kill us because we were all nothing but crowfood”. Bluefoot’s fur bristled and she said, “I hate ShadowClan! They’re nothing but creepy traitors!” The rest of the warrior cats yowled agreement. Mistykit wanted to hear more about the actual battle. But Sharpfang came by and sniffed the air. He spotted Mistykit in the bit of bush. “Hey! Get out of here! What are you doing outside the nursery anyway? Get back with Mistcloud now”! Sharpfang glared at Mistykit, and she had to leave. She left the bush and went back to the nursery in a huff.

More?
Chapter Six
Mistykit couldn’t wait to become an apprentice; she knew it would be soon. She wanted to be an apprentice now because of all the things she would learn and know. She would learn how to fight. And learn about all the Clans, she knew very little of WindCan, almost nothing of RiverClan, and she heard more of ShadowClan because of their creepiness and evil background. But Mistykit wanted to learn more. Fiercepaw, Rainpaw, Thunderpaw, and Rumblepaw were the four apprentices right now. By the time Mistykit would be an apprentice Fiercepaw would be a warrior. Rainpaw, a gray she-cat with blue eyes, was very outgoing and couldn’t wait for her next training lesson all the time. Thunderpaw was a bluish grayish tomcat just like Mistykit, and he was the youngest apprentice there. Rumblepaw was very stubborn and sassy. He was a black cat with a brown underbelly. He would be the next closest warrior after Fiercepaw. There was no medicine cat apprentice yet. Mistykit thought of becoming the med. Cat apprentice before. But she thought there was no way she could live with just healing everybody all the time. Plus, she would never get to have a mate! There was no way Mistykit could live without having a mat sometime. Sleep finally came over Mistykit. And she curled up beside her mother and fell asleep.
Chapter Seven
“Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the Highledge for a Clan meeting,” Mistystar called. “I, Mistystar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn.” Fiercepaw gleamed up at her, clearly ready for his warrior name. “Fiercepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?” “I do.” Fiercepaw meowed. “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name.” She said with pride. “Fiercepaw, from this moment you will be known as Fierceclaw. StarClan honors your courage and independence, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan.” Mistystar padded over and rested her muzzle on Fierceclaw’s head. He gave her shoulder a lick, and then went to stand beside his mentor Sharpfang. Cats all around yowled out his name, “Fierceclaw, Fierceclaw!” Sharpfang told him he had to keep vigil tonight and stay silent until dawn. Mistykit could hear it all from the nursery. She was very happy for Fierceclaw, but now she wanted to be an apprentice! And have he own mentor. Just as everyone was starting to pad away, Mistystar yowled down from the Highledge again. “The Clan meeting is not over yet!” Most cats had a look of surprise on their faces, and turned back towards the meeting. A few looked over towards the nursery and right at Mistykit. Then gave a knowingly nod and proceeded to the meeting. Mistcloud pushed Mistykit forward and out into the open. Mistykit stared at her leader with wide eyes. She now knew that this meeting was for her! She was going to be an apprentice! But who will be my mentor? She thought. There were only a few warriors with no apprentices. There was Kangafoot, but she was a med. cat and there was no way Mistykit would be her apprentice. Then there were Whitetail, Bluefoot, Hailstorm, and, now since Fierceclaw is a warrior, there is Sharpfang. Mistykit guessed Sharpfang wouldn’t get another apprentice so soon. So which one would it be? Chapter Eight
“Mistykit has reached her sixth moon, and she is ready to become an apprentice.” Mistystar beckoned Mistykit over with her tail. “Hailstorm”, she meowed, “you are ready for your first apprentice, Mistykit.” Hailstorm got up and walked towards Mistykit. “Hailstorm”, she continued, “Pass on all you have learned to Mistypaw, and help her become a warrior worthy of StarClan.” “Yes Mistystar.” Hailstorm dipped her head respectfully and touched noses with Mistypaw. Everyone cheered, “Mistypaw, Mistypaw!” Mistypaw was so proud! She thought either Whitetail or Bluefoot would have been her mentor. But instead, Hailstorm, a white she-cat with blue eyes, was going to have her first apprentice! Mistypaw. She didn’t know much about Hailstorm. She knew she didn’t have a mate because Bluefoot and Whitetail were mates. They haven’t had kits yet. Maybe Hailstorm and Sharpfang were mates? Mistypaw had no idea. They didn’t seem to go together. Hailstorm was a friendly and shy she-cat. While Sharpfang was outgoing and always giving orders because he is Clan deputy, she would just have to figure that out later. In the meantime, Rainpaw, Rumblepaw, and Thunderpaw were all greeting her as their new den mate. Yes! She wouldn’t have to sleep in the nursery anymore! Now she got to train and hunt. The only thing she wouldn’t like is the cleaning. There was only one elder. But she was a pawful! If there was only one thing Mistypaw knew, there was never a time when the bedding wasn’t dirty, no ticks in her fur, and bad joints all the time. Snowstorm is not the greatest elder to be around. She is a white she-cat with yellow eyes. She always seemed to be sick and grouchy. Mistypaw only knew all of this because of everyone around her always talks about how annoying Snowstorm is.
Chapter Nine
“Hailstorm, can you show me how to hunt today?” Mistypaw asked the next day. “Not today Mistypaw. I am going to first tell you all about the Clans! How’s that?” “Ok Hailstorm, that sounds great!” “Well, WindClan is known for their swiftness and how fast they are. The leader of WindClan is Adderstar. You will see her at your first Gathering. Their deputy is Viperfangs. She is really feisty. Their Medicine cat is Swiftwind. ShadowClan, as you already know, are very sneaky and secretive. Their leader is Shadestar. He is a fairly decent cat. Their deputy is Redfangs. He is actually one of the nicest deputies and their med. cat is Crystalfur, she is a white she-cat and very nice. Really their only sneaky and mean cats are their warriors and apprentices.” “I don’t like ShadowClan hey smell like crowfood!” Mistypaw meowed. “Oh but what about RiverClan? I’ve always wanted to know more about them!” “RiverClan loves to swim. They catch fish in the lake”. Hailstorm continued. “RiverClan’s leader is Rockstar. He is a big gray tom. Their deputy is Sandypelt she isn’t the nicest deputy. Their med. cat is Metalfur He is ok but not the greatest med. cat.” “Wow! I wish I could swim! Is that all of the Clans Hailstorm?” “Yes it is unless you want to talk about StarClan. But you know enough of them”. “What else can you tell me today? How about you? Do you have a mate?” Hailstorm looked into the bluish grayish she-cat’s yellow eyes. And she didn’t say anything for a while. Then she said, “Yes, my mate is Dirtpelt.” “Oh wow! Are you expecting to have kits soon?” “Not soon no.” she said, “Ok, that is enough questions. It’s getting late!” Hailstorm watched Mistypaw bound over to the apprentice’s den. She was happy to be her mentor. Mistypaw found a warm place next to Thunderpaw. Then went to sleep.
Chapter Ten
Mistypaw woke up early in the morning. She knew she was going to have her first hunting. Rainpaw already left with her mentor Dirtpelt. Rumblepaw and his mentor were doing fighting techniques today. So Thunderpaw and Mistypaw went together for their hunt. Hailstorm was waiting for Mistypaw. Teardrop wasn’t even there for his apprentice Thunderpaw! “Thunderpaw, Teardrop asked me to take you with me and Mistypaw on the hunt.” “Okay Hailstorm” Thunderpaw meowed. They went out into the forest where there was more prey. “Mistypaw, you and Thunderpaw can either split up to look for prey or stay together. Bring as much as you can.” They decided to go together. Thunderpaw and Mistypaw side-by-side sniffing out prey. Thunderpaw stopped mid-pawstep. He heard something rustling in a near by bush. It rustled again and this time Mistypaw heard it too. Thunderpaw crouched down. He slowly approached the bush and stopped. He waited for the rustling sound again, when he heard it he leaped up and pounced on his prey. It was a mouse. He killed it in one swipe of his paw and buried it for safekeeping. “Great catch!” Meowed Mistypaw. “Thanks!” Thunderpaw replied. He caught one more mouse after that. And he managed to catch a thrush. But Mistypaw was having a hard time catching anything at all. “You look like you need some help. This is how you do it!” “Thanks Thunderpaw you should be my mentor!” the two apprentices gleamed at each other for several seconds then Thunderpaw looked away. “You should try catching something now.” He meowed. “Good idea”! And this time they split up. Mistypaw seemed to do better when he had left. He had been such a big distraction! By the time the hunt was over, Thunderpaw had caught 3 mice, a thrush, and a vole. Mistypaw had caught a mouse and a vole only. Hailstorm looked at Mistypaw’s small catch and sighed. “It’s okay, you will do better next time.” The two cats put their prey they had caught on the fresh kill pile. And made sure Snowstorm got her piece. Then they each took a vole and shared tongues.
